Goth accessories
Goth accessories, like the other parts of the subculture have a lot of dark themes in it. It has incorporated pagan, Celtic and Wiccan styles. The jewellery, purses all have a depiction of religion, death, skulls, dark magic and other occult themes.
The most common ones are accessories with coffins, crosses, anti-Christ crosses, vampires, spiders, skulls, dead fairies, pendants with bullets and razor blades, and other sorts of moulds that depict something dark and morbid, usually made on silver and bones. A famous one is the Ankh, which is an Egyptian goddess, symbolizing eternal life.
The Eye of the Horus is also borrowed from Egypt and is supposed to protect the person who wears it. The pentacle that also has a star in it symbolizes the union between males and females. The crosses and knots are mainly borrowed from Celtic sources. However, not all people wear them for the meanings they hold, most of the time it is the aesthetic value that people look for. These jewelleries include earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, rings and piercings too.
