Major Goth festivals around the world
Bats Day in the Fun Park, one of the major events of Goth festivals, was started in August 1999. Gradually, it has turned into an annual 3-day event for the Goths. This event was started as a small Goth met up of about eighty people. With time, it has grown as the main event for the Gothians.
It takes place in Anaheim, CA near Disneyland. In the previous years, the events began on the weekend before the Labor Day. However, in 2008, this celebration was held on November 8 and 9; in 2009 it was May 2 and 3. The dates for the 2010 events will be declared shortly. The Bats Day in the Fun Park consists of five major events: The Bats Day Black Market, The Bats Day Ghoulish Gala, The Nightmare before Bats Day Dinner, The Bats Day Dark Park Festival and finally the Bats Day in the Fun Park.
